Out of all the genres that I have come across while running this blog, dream-pop has always been able to capture my attention. There was a point where it was all the talk and I think the hype has subsided a bit, but nonetheless the genre when done right is still great. Sweden natives Mountain Bird are doing it right, mixing in a bit of experimental and solid instrumentation. The single "Violent Night" takes you on an epic journey as the song continues to build. Love what I hear and expecting 2014 to be a pretty good year for these guys who also just recently signed to Universal Music.
