Yes, you are looking at the next Droid phone. This leaked photo and rumored reports suggests that Motorola is planning to refresh its’ popular sliding QWERTY smartphone lineup with this new device, which appears to feature the same design of its’ predecessor.

According to CNET, Motorola’s upcoming Droid 5 is rumored to feature a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus CPU with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 4.3-inch 720p HD display. That is of course in addition to the sliding keyboard. As seen on the photo, Verizon seem to have their eye on this device.

I’m sure fans of old-school physical qwerty keyboard phones will find this news to be very exciting. Although, I don’t see the point in having a bulky phone with a physical keyboard when you can type faster and better with Android touch screen keyboard. Do you?
