On this Mother's Day, I have much for which to be grateful. I have been blessed with three beautiful children, all who keep me busy and keep me on my toes. Without them, I wouldn't have the honor of being a mother. With them, I get to have all sorts of adventures, and my heart is full of nothing but love for them. Motherhood is no easy task. It is a lifetime occupation, lasting from pregnancy to death. A mother always has a special connection with her children, one that no other human being will ever have. She sacrifices her body to carry her children through pregnancy, her time and energy to raise and protect them, her rest to save them from nighttime troubles, her goals and ambitions to give them the best in life, and her heart to ensure that theirs will never be broken.  Despite the mistakes a mother can make, she can still be forgiven since she has already given up so much.  She may stumble from time to time, but her intentions are always to rise again to care for those for whom she lives her life. And children, even though they may take advantage of everything a mother is and disrespects her at times when they want their independence, will always come running back for comfort, support, and love, and she will readily give all.
I just hope that as a mother I can be the best for my children, who are my everything. I am blessed to be their 'Mommy'. May all of you mothers have a wonderful  Mother's Day!
