But look no further (see what I did there?) as The Body Shop launches a limited edition design Vitamin E Eyes Cube that's a perfect fatigue fighter for this!
I've used the Vitamin E eye gel before when countless late nights finally took their toll on my peepers. I had a good impression of it: it was fast-absorbing without a tacky afterfeel, and despite the slim tube it lasts me wayyy beyond its shelf life. If you chill it in the fridge before application, it's quite effective in depuffing eyebags, brighten dark eye rings and even reduce appearance of lines caused by dryness!
So I was rather intrigued when this new reformulation into a solid eye cube was sent over to me.
Like its predecessors, it's also enriched with wheatgerm oil, which is one of the highest natural sources of vitamin E to essentially retain moisture to keep skin supple and bright.
After finally going gaga over the cute packaging (which features a pop art of the British flag to commemorate it for being a best-seller in the country), I found the new packaging rather nifty. Much like your regular chapstick, it glides over the desired eye area smoothly and leaving a moist trail in its wake. There is a transient cooling sensation which fades off quickly, and is great to act as a primer of sorts to layer under eye makeup.
Standing at only about 7cm tall, this means it won't take up much space in your makeup bag and is great for carrying on the go. If you tend to have oily eye areas, this might be a better alternative as compared to the eye gel version.
