Morris 8 is a collaboration of Canadian and Australian musicians John MacRae, Robert Blanchet and Ben Aitchis who have been playing together since the 90’s. The members write and record songs over long distances. Their music is uplifting and sincere. The melodies are simple and catchy, pop style vocals flow over piano, guitar, bass, and drums to create a fluid listening experience. Their song Captivated (a new single and mark of things to come) makes you want to frolic through snowy covered plains hand in hand with your favorite person. Candy sprinkles float down from cotton candy clouds and the abdominal snow man isn’t scary at all but hands out snow cones to the kids. That being said, their music isn’t comical, it makes you happy. If you were in a bad mood before listening things will turn around quick.
