How do you celebrate Valentine’s Day?
Usually, people fall into one of two camps: either Valentine’s Day is a big deal – or it’s not. Either way, V-Day is a good excuse to get all gussied up – but, this year, you should consider going a little further than the go-to red dress.
Dresses are sexy, sure – but so are a good pair of fitted black pants. Cropped, so you can show off a sexy pair of strappy sandals. Note, if you wear pants and sandals, you’ll need to find a pair which cover your heels (see above).
Also, consider wearing something sheer to show off some fancy undies. Above, I found a light floral jersey t-shirt which would be sheer enough to see a bright pink bra, but not too sheer to show off everything else. I would add a blazer if you don’t want to feel too exposed.
Next, add some eye-catching bling. I’ve picked a chunky crystal necklace; kind of a nod to diamonds on a holiday when men are known to give gifts of jewelry. A small metal mint clutch gives some balance to the outfit with color and texture.
