I tried some of MUA's £1 collection not that long ago and I loved it (Click here for those buys).
So I thought I would try some other bits and bobs. It was also 3 for 2 in super drug so these three items cost me £2...What a bargain!! I wanted to try the lipglosses so was intending on getting two...however since it was 3 for 2 I thought I would try the blusher because im never sure about cheap blushers...yes lipglosses are generaly ok at any price, but not always blusher so i thought i would give it a go since i was technically getting it for free!!
This is the blusher and it is a spring summer light pink...shade 2. as i said im never sure about cheap blushers. But i have to say pleasantly suprised by the quality. I creates a lovely color on your cheeks in just one applications so you dont have to put loads of coats on (sounds like a nail polish!!). Packaging is basic but sturdy and its quite stiff to open which means it shouldnt open in your bag and spill everywhere! One downside is it is quite dusty and leaves a little excess on the top of the blusher and you do also need to tap it off the brush a little just so its not dusty all over your face/ floor/ vanity.
This is the first lipsgloss I selected...shade 3. A hot pink color. It is really easy to apply and its not sticky and gooey its a really good consistency. The color looks amazing in the bottle but you do have to put a couple of coats on to make it thats bright but i like it also as the paler pink that you get with one stroke. It is like a two colours in one bottle..so itsnt really that bad considering it means you can create two different looks. it is also a large bottle so i think it will last me a little while!! I personally prefer lipglosses to lipstick...which is why i bought the next one.
I bought this clear shimmery lipgloss as one that i can put over my lipsticks if i want to. I love how this one is slightly shimmery. Although like the pink one it is not sticky or gooet...it is kind of the other way in that it is a little runny so you have to be careful when you take the applicater out of the bottle that it doesnt flick. But appart from that theres not anything else wrong with iy and i am very pleased with the product.
Overall I am very pleased about my purchases and but my favorite out of the three has to be the pink lipgloss. But my overall favorite MUA product would have to be the eyeshadows. I think for £1 these products are a bargain and gorgeous products to own.This probrably wont be the last MUA product purchase!!
