Kenny Dixon Jr, AKA Moodymann, will follow up 2012′s Picture This album with a new full-length.
Earlier this year, Detroit house legend released the ABCD mini-album through his KDJ imprint. It consisted of 24 minutes worth of material spread over seven tracks.
ABCD: The Album will feature 12 new tracks spread over two 12″s on Dixon’s own Mahogani Music imprint. The record comes with some truly gruesome cover art – see below.
The first taster from the album, ‘Come To Me’, offers up slinky deep house with sexy r’n'b vocals – have a listen below. It also comes with some co-production from fellow Detroit producer Andrès. A release date is as of yet unknown.
