MOO Business/Mini/Post Cards - A Review

It's official. Just as my blog traffic halved suddenly overnight across my four blogs for the second time in the year (reasons unknown), I have decided to make my blogging official. I now have my own blogger's business cards. The main reason for making it official was a recent event that I attended, The Singapore Takeout. As I met the organizers I was obliged to handover my business card, and because I only had my actual business cards (Exports) it did create a bit of a confusion, and eventually I had to individually write my blog addresses on each card.

A quick mention of the same on twitter on my return and I had a link to Moo Cards sent to me. An hour later, I had ordered my very first batch of mini-cards along with a mini-card holder.

Moo Cards (business, mini, postcards, stickers, corners) have a pretty easily navigable website. MOO.COM works and so does UK.MOO.COM. Although there are preset designs available, the best thing about MOO is that you can integrate your own designs and photographs into the cards. I ended up uploading some of my own personal photographs, which added a personal touch, especially since I have a photo blog as well. There is also an option to link it with your Flickr account to import the photos.

I had my cards delivered locally in the UK and they were delivered well within the stipulated time period. I cannot comment on the time it takes to ship overseas, but I am sure they do fine with it.

Receiving the cards, my very first impression was FANTASTIC. The quality of the card it brilliant and the printing is perfect. The photographs came out well and did not look faded or cheap. The text is easily readable and clear and once again printed well across the 100 cards that I ordered. The packaging of the cards in a small box was rather cute and it gives an overall elegant feel to the entire presentation.

There is a minimum quantity requirement of 100 cards that you need to order. The good thing is that you can have a different image on each card if you want. I chose around 20-25 photographs which meant that I had one photograph on about 4-5 cards.
MOO also has a bunch of accessories like card holders and even a mini-card frame that are available through them. I only order a mini-card holder which is again made of good quality plastic and works well holding about 8-10 mini-cards.

Including delivery, locally in the UK, my entire bill for the 100 bespoke cards and the card holder was £20. Money well spent considering not only are my photographs being publicized, but I ended up with a rather unique product that I am sure will make a few people jealous. I already have my business cards with me, but I am sure that my next batch will be ordered through MOO.

MOO also has a referral scheme in which, after your first order, you are given a code/link which when used by anyone gives your friend a discount and simultaneously you end up with MOO points which is converted into money off your next order. So, feel free to click on the link in the right sidebar if you would like to use this offer and help me in this process to. After your first order, you can refer others and collect MOO points for yourself.
NOTE: The above review was not commissioned by MOO. It has been done by the blogger on his own accord.
