Here is a prime example of depreciation at it finest. The first line in this article should have said how much cash does Kanye West and Jay-Z really have? Answer, enough to trash a $350,000 Maybach in their new video “Otis” of course we all know it probably wasn’t worth $350,000 when that vehicle left the dealership, but really why would you trash such a beautiful car, I compare this to jumping out of a perfectly maintained airplane just for a thrill in your life, come on. I recently watch this video for the first time this past weekend, let me just say I was hoping that they really didn’t trash that Maybach. I thought it was special effects at first but then I found this article and saw the comments by the president and co-founder of DUB magazine, Myles Kovac where he was talking about the dismantling of this very expensive car. Kovac estimated that the cost for the trashing this Maybach could’ve been around $150,000, ouch! I am not sure if Kanye and Jay-Z received the news as of late but this country is in a recession, which that doesn’t seem to bother them, and why should it. Jay-Z is worth about $500 million and Kanye is worth about $70 million, they both have enough money that they really can do what ever they want, as they prove this to be true by literally taking $450,000 and metaphorically speaking flushing it down the tube. Granted they say they intend on taking this vehicle and putting it up for auction in order to raise funds for the East Africa drought disaster. I guess after all they weren’t as crazy as I thought, at least we get to see something good come out this. Call me crazy, but I thinking they could have both just put together
