It rained ALL day yesterday, then it rained ALL night last night, then miraculously at exactly 7.45this morning it stopped!!
Arthur arrives at 8am each morning to crack on with the work, and after a break last week while we waited for the building supplies to be delivered ....
... like this little lot ....
... and these reinforcing mesh things (I know I'm so technical!!) ...
... this morning he's back at the coal face.
The little digger you see behind the stone mountain and to the left of the earth mountain is his tool of choice today as he merrily chips away at more of the hillside.
At the other end of the paddock while walking with the dogs I stopped to drink in the luscious greenness of everywhere, it's so much more calming than soil and mountains of stone.
I couldn't resist taking a panoramic shot from the same position. I love how these shots make the hollows on the grass dip down to make little green valleys. A totally different perspective.
Everything is springing back to life, only a couple of weeks ago this was merely a stick in the ground now it is full of leaves and surrounded by weeds of every description. I think it's time to fence off the new nut trees, hang a gate on the paddock gate posts and see about getting some borrowed sheep to graze our luscious grass.
