A snake has taken a tiny baby rat.
Baby’s mom leaps to the rescue. Even after the snake lets go of baby, mom still goes after the snake, ferociously chasing it into the grass, out of sight of the video-cam.
Thankfully, baby is alive. Mom picks up baby and carries it in her mouth to safety.
Imagine the enormous courage this mommy rat has. She puts some human mothers to shame.
