When I was browsing the nailpolishcanada.ca I came across this scented nail polish by Models Own and I just had to try it! There is a whole "Fruit Pastel Collection" by Models Own which contains five shades, all different colours & scents .I got the shade Apple Pie, which is also suppose to smell like apple pie. I bought this polish more for curiosity reasons, but I made sure to pick a shade I would want to wear. I have a lot of mint green polishes but not a pastel one so I figured this was a good pick!
I love mint green, but this shade has a lot of white in the formula compared to the other mint nail polishes I own. You can see it also has some blue and is very vibrant. This polish has a good formula, not streaky, and takes about three coats to get full coverage. The brush handle is not a cap, therefore the handle is bigger to hold if your used to using smaller brush handles. Although I like this polish and the formula, my favorite mint green polish is still China Glaze in Re-Fresh Mint (review here). As for scent, when you first apply the nail polish, it smells like regular nail polish with the scent of apple pie. Once it dries, it still has that same scent, a mix of nail polish with apple pie. I think it's a cute idea, would be a fun gift to anyone who loves nail polish!
