If' you're anything like me you're addicted to your phone. I love tweeting and Instagram and when I'm out I use it for my emails. This means I am forever running out of battery on my iPhone and that's not helpful when you're in the middle of replying to important emails. Luckily, Mobile Solar Chargers have a solution for this that I'm going to tell you about!
Mobile Solar Chargers offer solar, wireless & power bank chargers. They are all rechargeable battery packs that allow you to charge your phone on the go, wherever you are. All the chargers have a USB port so they will charge almost anything. Wether you have an Apple, Blackberry, HTC, Nokia, Samsung or Motorola smartphone, an iPad, kindle or Google Nexus, these will work for you!
I have 3 different kinds to show you and each one is great for different things. Warren & I have been trying them out to see which we like first.
First up, we have the Plinth.
The plinth is a power bank and with built in leads. It has a lift up flap with a built in apple connector so it acts like a dock for a iPhone, which we have been loving. It's so simple to use, it just has one button to and shows 4 blue lights to show how much power is remaining. I love having this next to me so I can still use it while it's charging and not get tangled up in cables. It will hold it's charge for months and give most smartphones two full charges. You can recharge it via the mains, PC/Laptop or In car charger. It's also not bulky like all the others and it also looks good on the office table ;). This is by far our favourite for at home use.
Next, the Lite Solar Charger.
The Lite solar charger is just that, a solar charger that is compact and complete with a panel to attract the light and charge itself. There is even a built in LED light on a flexible stalk so you can charge it even if there is no natural light. This charger is able to give a smart phone one full charge and then it will need recharging itself but again holds its charge for months. It also comes with the 5 inter changeable adapters so you can charge a range of different gadgets including iPods & blackberries. This is the one I have been taking everywhere in my handbag just incase. I think it would be excellent to keep in the car for emergencies and at festivals!
Lastly, we have the Slim.
Again, the name is pretty self explanatory and I would say this is the most slim and compact of the ones we have. Just like the solar charger it has the 5 inter changeable adapters and just like the Plinth it will give 2 full charges to a standard smartphone. It's very simple to use, you plug it in and it will start charging and it will turn itself off when it's finished charging the device. Clever! This one Warren has been taking in his pocket, you can see how slim it is compared to the iPhone 4s and he can even have it charging whilst in his pocket! This one is the most portable I would say and great for slipping in your pocket just like Warren does!
Overall, we are equally impressed with all of these and will be using them a lot! The prices are great at either £14.95 or £19.95 for these ones we have. I am definitely keeping the solar one in the glove box of my car. What with having Sienna you never know when it will come in handy! I think it should be in every ones car, especially if you have kids.
