In an effort to continue building anticipation for Our Own House, Misterwives have released yet another single from their upcoming album. “Hurricane”, which you can stream above, lyrically focuses on individuality — “We’ll dance to our own beat, won’t sing to your melody/We will not care if we’re the only ones swimming in the sea/Let’s do this all our own way/Can’t change the storm of a hurricane.” In typical Misterwives fashion, these words are backed by an upbeat melody and a led by vocalist, Mandy Lee. Particularly when the song turns the corner into the chorus, as the beat picks up, the drums and bass get louder, and the harmonies are apparent, we begin to really start craving the rest of their album.
