Miss Claire Kiss Proof Lipgloss in No.312 Review, Swatches and LOTD

Hi girls,Finally April is here which is my birthday month and the start of the proper summer season in India. I hate summers it disgusts me to the core. But what can one do. Sit and cool yourself in the air conditioner.. hahaha.. My today's review is a long wear lip gloss from a brand called Miss Claire which I have mentioned many a times on my blog. It is a brand which is readily available in Mumbai and very inexpensive too. They have blushes, eyeshadows lipsticks and lip glosses. The lip gloss I shall talk about is called Miss Claire Kiss Proof Lip gloss in no 312. Let us find out more about this lip gloss in my review....

Price: Rs. 120/- nothing mentioned about the quantity here I guess it was on the wrapper which I peeled off and threw away.

The lip gloss comes in a sleek tube which contains lip color  at one end and clear lip gloss on the other. The idea is to use the color part on the lips and then use the clear lip gloss on top of it. The wand is a doe foot applicator which is awesome and appropriate for proper lip gloss application. The gloss tube does not leak and looks cute. Hence I would say that it is travel friendly.

The lip gloss can be best described as a copperish brown with teeny tiny shimmers in it which  you cannot feel on the lips at all. It is a pretty much cream to matte formula. You need to apply this first and wait for it to dry for 30 seconds or so if you wish you can keep it like that but  it would feel too dry on the lips. You need to go on more than once to get the desired color on the lips. Hence the idea is to put that clear lipgloss for added oomphness and avoid dryness on the lips and trust me adding that lip gloss makes all the difference.It looks more polished and makes your lips look pouty. This shade is perfect for my skin tone. It is neither too dark nor too light. Usually I do not go for shades like this but this one is an exception I love it. Once the lipgloss is set on the lips it does not budge for nearly 6 hours which is the best part. Well as claimed it is Kiss proof yeah which means it will not transfer on your tea cups or will stain them which is awesome.

 It does not smell bad or funky. Once the lip gloss wears off the color does remain on the lips but it may  get a bit drying and may accentuate the fine lines on the lips but I would not complain because I know that all long lasting lip glosses have the same problem. Overall a good long lasting lip gloss. The availability could only be a big issue though

The Good:Inexpensive.Cute packaging.Long lasting - Stays for 6 hours.Yes Kiss proof which means non transferable.Does not leak hence is travel friendly.Doe foot applicator makes application easy.Comes with a clear lip gloss which  is not sticky and adds oomph to the lips.

The not so Good:May accentuate fine lines on the lips once it gets dry.Availability may be a problem for many.Ingredients list missing.May not be everyone's favorite shade to sport.

Rating: 4/5In conclusion I love the concept of this lip gloss it is amazing. For the price you cannot ask for more. The staying power is good also it is non transferable. The only funny thing I found is Kiss proof - well if you have a boy friend or husband you can try it. ahahaha or else use your hands to test it out.. Lol..  I definitely recommend this product to everyone except for  those with very dry and chapped lips.I hope you found my review helpful.
