Minks Help You with Your Summer Lovin’ [stream]

Brooklyn duo MINKS have officially released their first single, “Margot”, from their forthcoming album titled Tides End, due out on August 6th. While it may simply be another track to perfectly soundtrack the second half of your summer lovin’, partyin’ or frolickin’, it’s worth a particularly attentive listen for it’s ultra cool, Smith-esque guitars, synths and drum machine backing. It could literally send you “dreaming of the West Coast” as lead singer Sonny Kilfoyle suggests. Fortunately for those savvy enough within the blogosphere, Hype Machine is letting you hear the whole album days prior to the official release.
