Florida native Mike Diaz has been releasing music as Millionyoung since 2011, and though his debut was great, this sophomore LP, Variable, is a giant step forward. Released by Rix/Old Flame Records just today, the album is smooth, sexy, and choc full an interesting mix of synth, beats, and live guitar. A few months ago, Diaz visited our studio where he performed “Lovin” and “Easy Now”. Watch both below and download the MP3s for free.

‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs. This Buzzsession was a collaboration with Vibe, shot at Degraw Sound, a Brooklyn recording studio on the Park Slope/Gowanus border, owned and operated by producer/engineer/musician Ben Rice.
