Elizabeth Miller (metaphysics, philosophy of science, philosophy of physics), currently a lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Birmingham, has accepted a tenure-track position in the Department of Philosophy at Yale University. This is a significant setback for Birmingham’s otherwise very successful effort to building up a top notch philosophy department, but of course an equally significant recruitment success for Yale!
