When Mikhael Paskalev played our SXSW party this past March, we watched in awe. This band possesses something incredibly special — it’s not just one thing, actually, but each and every thing a music fan could hope for. While they’re all outstanding musicians and have a repertoire of kickass jive rock tunes, it’s their infectious energy that makes them truly irresistible. We were blessed to have the opportunity to take them to a barber shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn called Persons of Interest for our latest episode of Buzzsessions, during which the band performed “Come On” and “Jive Babe”. ‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs. This Buzzsession was shot at Persons of Interest in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
