Miggz Can Do Anything!

By Simonettha
Miggz can do anything!

This artist can definitely do anything using different techniques and styles but you can feel the same happiness observing his works. Miggz can transform any emotion into a colorful masterpiece and that's why we totally love him!

Tell me about your story. When did you start making art? I've done art my whole life, as long as I can remember, I was drawing or trying to create in some way. I got more serious about it a few years ago and started investing in my tools and learning.

What do you try to express through your works? Different things, usually something I'm thinking or feeling, or something I heard that resonates with me, and whatever imagery comes to mind when I think of it. My most recent work has to do with a breakup, so all the emotions and things that come with that.

What's your main inspiration? Life - Whatever i'm going thru at the moment. Things going on around me, and how they affect me. Music is a huge inspiration. Other art forms definitely inspire me.

How does the place you live in affect your art? I live on the westcoast of the USA, currently in Las Vegas, but I'll be splitting time soon. I think my environment is what influences my art the most, my goal is to travel to different places soak up the culture & art and see how it affects mine. You can definitely see the Vegas influence in my work, for instance: my last series was all neon signs on sheet music.

What's the future of art, especially urban art? I think the future of art seems promising. I believe pop up galleries, with larger mural size works, will be more popular - similar to Studio Be in New Orleans.

What does it mean being an artist nowadays? 20% talent 80% marketing/business & perseverance. You need to be able to sell yourself and your work, honestly you need to be able to play every position if you want to be an artist today...or outsource it.

That being said, ART MANAGERS! - HIT ME UP!!!
