Verdict on Midnight Peepshow

Wraparound

Graham is a drunk investor stumbling around the streets in London, he misses his conference and is looking for a good time. This sees him stumble into the Midnight Peepshow, where the dancers are going to tell him their stories. He connects the stories, as he discovers what is going on with the women he meets.

Personal Space

Alice (Browne) is the first dancer, her story shows her time married to David and living above a nightclub. In one of their nightly fights, the couple finds themselves invaded by a stranger. As the invasion continues, the truth comes out and another connection to the Black Rabbit is found. This is a clever first chapter, where it constantly pulls the rug out from under us with the twists along the way. 4/5

F*ck Marry Kill

Helen (Davis) is the second woman Graham meets, she is a wounded bride who meets three guys from her life. The four have an electric collar on and are put through an intense game by the Black Rabbit. This is an intense version of a drinking game, where it does become a matter of life and death. It does have a disturbing factor to the truth too. 4/5

The Black Rabbit

Isabel is the third girl, and her story starts one-year earlier with Graham. She has found the Black Rabbit and finds herself asking her husband to pay her for sex to try and reignite their marriage. This sees her go down the rabbit hole she wasn’t prepared for, as Graham looks to save their marriage. 4/5

Thoughts

Midnight Peepshow brings us three main short horror stories, each connected to a mysterious Black Rabbit society. It is smartly connected, rather than a basic introduction, as it explores the world Graham finds himself drawn into. The effects in each short are great, with a series of strong disturbing fantasies.

Final Thoughts Midnight Peepshow is a disturbing series of fantasy desires.
