Plot: London-raised Ronnie returns to his home in India to discover his mother Suleka has died in mysterious circumstances. As he uncovers a series of similar past murders, Ronnie’s own inner-darkness come to light.

Story: Darkness Visible starts when Ronnie (Deol) learns his mother Suleka (Akerkar) has returned to India and been involved in an accident. Ronnie hopes on a flight to be with his mother, where he learns about the past she had there. However, Ronnie can’t help but wonder why his mother returned in the first place.
When she ends up dying, her death is filled with mystery. Ronnie ends up teaming up with local police officer Asha (Gupta) as they investigate. This sees them learning about a previous series of murders in the area that has a connection to Ronnie’s mother.
Verdict on Darkness Visible
Darkness Visible is a horror thriller following a young man who returns to his mother’s homeland of India after she suffers an accident. While he tries to learn about her past, he finds himself dealing with a series of haunting experiences. However, the truth about why he was raised in England comes to light and he finds himself battling things he could never understand.
This is an interesting horror movie that gets to dive into a mystery about someone’s past. It takes us down a path where things are filled with haunting imagery that creates uncomfortable situations. This does keep us guessing right up to the final reveal, which will leave you shocked. It even leaves you wanting to know a lot more about what happens.
