It’s been a very long 3 weeks since we last shared an episode of Buzzsessions, a great break from our day-to-day to relax and get away. Well, now our break is over and we’re back with a brand new Buzzsession, shot late last year with Texas band, Midlake. We’re long-time fans of these guys so were obviously honored to have worked with them, and are truly thrilled with the way these came out. Watch the recordings, both from their 2013 full-length Antiphon, below and snag the free download if you so desire.
‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series produced by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we capture footage of our favorite bands as they record alternate studio-quality versions of their songs. This Buzzsession was made possible by Squarespace and shot at Degraw Sound, a Brooklyn recording studio on the Park Slope/Gowanus border, owned and operated by producer/engineer/musician Ben Rice.
