RoomAlive uses multiple projector depth-camera units, AKA procams, each consists of a wide field of view projector, a Microsoft Kinect sensor and a computer, to easily turn any room into an interactive experience or in this case – an incredible video game.
“RoomAlive enables game designers to create projection mapped games independent of the particular room that the content is displayed in. All the content in RoomAlive is driven in real-time and dynamically adapts to the exact color and geometry of the user’s living room.”

RoomAlive is still a proof-of-concept prototype. But, when developed this amazing new breakthrough will eventually give birth to an entirely new generation of video games and virtual reality. Even Oculus Rift looks outdated compared to this.
