Microsoft's E3 press conference to be 'more about first-party' than previous years
Microsoft's E3 press conference will have a stronger focus on first-party titles coming to Xbox One than in previous years, Xbox chief Phil Spencer has said.
Tweeting overnight, Spencer revealed that the platform holder "should have new exclusive IP at E3", before stating that he is "trying to make this E3 more about 1st party than past E3s".
Microsoft will still have deals to announce with third-party publishers, he later clarified, but said that "it's just, [in my opinion], more important to focus on and support our 1st party."
He also said that the decision may mean that "this years [sic] E3 might feel different from past E3s but I like focusing on our games."
