Microcrafts:Tiny Treasures to Make and Share is just...
Microcrafts:Tiny Treasures to Make and Share is just published this week by Quirk Books. As the name suggests, the book includes 25 craft projects each of which are no bigger than a spool of thread!
We all  know that  small is beautiful and  the  miniature things that you can create with the help of the book are really gorgeous.
I have not  tried out any of the projects yet but I will definitely do. There are little ladybirds, teddy bears, tiny terrariums and polka dot bikinis to make. This is not a children's book but I am sure some of the creations will be most appealing to little ones as well. If you enjoy making gifts rather than buying them, these would make lovely gifts. Perfect for Christmas which is approaching!
The step-by-step instructions and hand-drawn illustrations  are very helpful to follow. There is also a section dedicated to tiny sewing techniques.
I also like that most of the projects do not require anything else than everyday household items. Plus you can also put odds and ends to good use.
Here are a few photos from a few projects that I really liked. To give you an idea about how small they are,  I  wrote their actual sizes in the caption.
