Great news for Alexander and Anna!
Alex’s movie,
Melancholia was nominated by the
London Film Critics Circle for the
Sky 3D Award in TECHNICAL ACHIEVEMENT! Manuel Alberto Claro, cinematography was named in this category.
As well as Alex’s co-star, Kristen Dunst as ACTRESS OF THE YEAR for her role as Justine in Melancholia!
Interestingly enough,
Anna Paquin is
also nominated for the same award as Kristen, but for her role in her movie,
Margaret! Kenneth Lonergan the screenwriter of
Margaret is also up for SCREENWRITER OF THE YEAR!

The awards are voted by more than 120 critics, broadcasters and writers from the UK, and will be given out at a ceremony in London on January 19.
