With her very own headlining tour and an opening slot with country stars Old Dominion coming up to start 2020, Meghan Patrick has got a busy schedule and a lot of excitement on the way.
The two tours on Meghan's schedule intertwine, starting with her own Wild As Me Tour in Ontario, then transitioning to the We Are Old Dominion Tour, before going back to her own shows again. From the end of January to the beginning of May, she'll be a busy woman with 23 dates on the calendar, and the potential for more to be added in some blank spaces.
Over the last five years, we've watched her become one of the biggest things in Canadian country. We've seen Meghan Patrick play fairs and festivals, songwriters circles and showcases, big stages and small. And now we get to watch her headline her own tour, with Sons Of Daughters opening and 12 dates across Ontario to show everyone that it is her time.

Sons Of Daughters is a great choice (in our opinion) for Meghan's Wild As Me dates as the direct support opener. The duo is talented and are great performers. Country fans are starting to know their name and voices with songs like What If We Stay, Ain't Gonna Be Lonely Long, and their cover of Enter Sandman. If you haven't seen the duo, or if you haven't listened to their EP, Love In A Bar, we recommend that you do that!
It should be noted as well that it is kinda cool and cute and sweet and also makes for a great set of opening acts to have Meghan and Mitchell Tenpenny on the bill with Old Dominion. We're sure that it will be nice for the couple to travel with each other on tour instead of moving in opposite directions for weeks at a time. And maybe, if audiences are lucky, we'll get some duet action like we did during the CCMA Awards show when the pair sang Wild As Me together. (click here to watch the video) And besides all of the niceties, both Meghan and Mitchell are talented and will do a great job opening those shows.
From Ottawa to Abbotsford, Meghan Patrick will have the chance to play for audiences of country music fans that know her music. And no matter which tour she's on, we know it's going to be a party. If there was a better way for her to start 2020, we don't know it.
