It's almost time for our 'school year activities' to kick in. And that means our freezer had better be full of meals!!!
Here's another meal that freezer fabulously.....
Tater Tot Casserole
To make ONE 8 inch square casserole pan:
1 lb browned ground beef or turkey
1/4 cup sauteed onion
1 can or 1 cup (HOMEMADE - recipe below) Cream Soup of your choosing
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 lb frozen tater tots
Brown ground meet and onions. Drain. Combine with Cream Soup and put into casserole dish. Next, top with grated cheese and then the tater tots.
If you are cooking it that night, bake uncovered for 40 minutes at 400 degrees.
If not, cover with foil, label and freeze. On cooking day, thaw and cook as above.
I made two of these dishes for a total of about $6.00 (or close to $3.00 a piece).
