Most disabled people usually gives up on their lives and dreams because they think they can’t compete or match with others. But, being disabled is no reason to stop trying. I think this blind motorcyclist Stuart Gunn is the perfect example/idol for those people. Gunn has just become the world’s fastest blind and disabled biker by riding his motorcycle at 167.1 mph (264 kmh) speed.
According to Metro UK, Gunn had a little help from his father who rides alongside him to give directions via an intercom system. He made this record breaking come back after suffering from a horrible accident, happened 11 years ago that left him paralyzed across the right side of his body.
“I hope this proves to people that just because you are blind or have a disability, doesn’t mean it should change or limit your life,” said Stuart Gunn after his amazing accomplishment.
Anyone would think that hitting a speed of 164 mph is just crazy but, I think Gunn’s stunt is way more than just a Guinness World Record because he’s just proved that “you can do anything, if you put your mind to it.” If a blind man can achieve something amazing as this, imagine what you can do with what you have.
