I am so excited to introduce my mentoree, Sarah to you. She is a senior in high school, and as part of her graduation requirements she must acquire a mentorship. She wanted to learn more about fashion and fashion blogging, and approached me. I am so thrilled to be working with her! Below, find her introduction where she tells you about herself. Be sure to say hi! This is her very first blog post ever!----Hello my name is Sarah. I'm a fun, out going, fashionista. I live in Northern California. I will be showing you the type of fashion I wear, also my personal style. I will also be showing the different types of things that I like to do like art, drawing, and the different types of clothing I like to wear. I will be creating a theme for a photoshoot I will be doing soon with Amber. I will be taking photos of the models in my outfits I styled.
I want to have a blog because I realized I like to look good everyday. The reason why is it gives me confidence when I'm out in public because first impressions are always good. In middle school I had a hard time because I felt no confidence whatsoever. I had no self esteem, and I also felt unattractive. But I realized then that I had to make myself look better to feel better. I looked at fashion magazines, I watched t.v shows like America's Next Model, and What Not to Wear. I cannot wait to show you what I have learned over the years!
I will be working with Amber. She will be teaching me how to use a camera and the tripod. She will also teach me how to create a theme for a photoshoot. Amber will be teaching me how to edit photos and post them online for my blog. She will teach me how to work with others and teach them the same thing she taught me. She will also teach me how to interview someone else who's interested in fashion!
Futher on I will be learning photography and how to edit pictures, and I will be assisting in photshoots. I'm going to be meeting a designer to get an inside look of other fashionistas. I'm so excited!
