If you’ve thought the Magneto from X-Men is awesome, wait till you meet Liew Thow Lin, a 78-year-old man from Malaysia who has a strange ability to attract and stick iron objects to his body.
This strange ability has given Thow Lin a cool name. People in his country calls him as Human Magnet and Mr. Magnet. According to Wikipedia, he can stick metal objects on his skin weighing up to 36 kg’s. Although, despite his famous name, magnetism got nothing to do with his ability. Scientists have confirmed that his ability is caused by a high level of friction that appears to be running in his body. And it seems to be genetic too because his ability has now passed on to three of his grandchildren’s as well.
