We all know fashion changes with every season and also with every profession; therefore we try to revamp our closet accordingly. Now if you are a college going girl you don’t need to add on glitter and shimmer to your wardrobe much. For a party yes of course, one can carry them. And so is for an office goer. You would have more of sophisticated and plain shades than casual, bold and loud.Fashion Show

I hope you all will agree when I say that fashion also depends on culture. Like ours being a medley culture which includes variety of patterns and designs. The festive season is round the corner and you never know that we might see lots of shimmer materials and heavy embroidery coming up. The Indo-Western look that is trending nowadays can be expected to see a lot of slit patterns and heavy neck work tops on high-low dresses.

As you all can also note being a fashion follower that Asian fashion trends have always been a highlight and taken into consideration by the designers worldwide. The Lakme Fashion week that just rounded up had designers showcasing festive traditional outfits. I pretty much expect that this fall/winter season trends will include evergreen patterns, variety of colors and floral. So to keep you updated I bring to you the details and specifications of the patterns, designs and color that all you gorgeous and pretty ladies must have this season.

Let us start with patterns first:

Turtlenecks:

This season seems to pay tribute to the 60’s retro style. The turtlenecks are back with a stylish touch. Turtlenecks can be worn in two ways- either styling turtleneck tops with plated skirts or jeans or wearing the turtleneck dresses. Try out tops with full sleeves and dark shades of blue or shades of tan to look fashionable. Turtlenecks could also be expected to be seen in Indi-pop look, like flared kurtis with sequined turtleneck.  Well, since turtlenecks would be in trend it will be time to take out your low neck shimmer dress from your closet and wear a turtleneck under it to look super stylish.

Off-shoulders:

You have a well-defined collar bone and never knew how to flaunt it? Well ladies, it’s now time for some happy dance. Off-shoulder tops and dresses are now in trend. Off shoulder tops with floral prints in nude as well as dark shades are the highlights of the season. This trend is best for daylights and for a lunch meet. This season go all glamorous with an off shoulder crop top or blouse on a floral skirt. The look according to me will look awesome on festive functions.

Ruffles:

Ruffles can be best combined with off-shoulder tops and dresses. Off-shoulder tops with a ruffled neckline will make you look super stylish. Ruffled sleeves top are also a good option for a casual back to college look.

Chokers:

choker
Choker tops, chokers in accessories is all that is a must have this season. Chokers define your neck and give you a chic-look. Accessorize your boring t-shirt or shirt with a laced choker to give it a brand new look and tie a bun to highlight your look. Traditional choker might also be a highlight of this season. So yes pretty ladies it’s time to reuse your old tops and t-shirts and revive your look with chokers.

Let us now take a peek-a-boo in the latest designs that are trending this season:

Evergreen Stripes:

Stripes are never out of fashion. Are you too skinny? Always wanted to add on fat to your body did not succeed? Well, here’s a trend that will help you somehow look a bit fatter. It’s a commonly held belief that wearing clothes with horizontal stripes will make you look fatter. The illusion it creates is the reason behind this. So try fit and flare dress with stripes on it to add on the stylish look.

Polka dots:

When you want to look interesting and iconic, polka dot prints is a must have. A royal blue midi dress with plated flare will give you a retro look on point and you will look both fashionable and stylish. So this season try on and experiment with your polka dot prints..

Girlish Prints:

Often hide the little girl in you? Wanted to wear dresses with star prints or a huge heart on a top? The wait is over girl. This fall 2016 brings to you the fashion trend of girlish prints. You can now flaunt the bubbly girl in you and accessorize it with a sling bag to look stylish.

Floral:

floral
Floral has been in trend for a while now. And I believe it will keep its popularity on for this season as well. Try out a full floral maroon or red plated skirt with a plain sequined top to get a beautiful festive look.

Talking about colors that will be in trend this season is:

Shades of blue:

Black is always in trend but this season we will see a lot of blues also. Different shades of blue will give a soothing look, blue being one of the cool colors. Style out things with blue denims or blue dresses and give it a Fall/Winter look.

Dusty pink and yellow:

Earlier we thought of blush pink to be a spring color, but this season designers have showcased their works in blush pink and dusty yellow shades which have impressed a lot. Therefore these colors might also turn out to be a fashion trend you never know!!

Shades of tan:

Don’t be surprised if you see a lot of tan pants or skirts in the shops or women wearing them. The season is expected to see tons of pants, knits, skirts and apparels done up in varying shades of tan. The Asian colors like muted khakhis and soft camels will be favorites of all.

So, Fall/Winter 2016 will all be about this. So Ladies, get set and give your wardrobe a makeover and also be a fashionista and this season keep it stylish.
