Sausage and Lentil Soup from My Baking AddictionSausage and Lentil Soup with crusty peasant bread.

I love Carrabba’s sausage and lentil soup but I also love making large batches of soup to ensure leftovers for future quick dinners and “free lunches”.  This recipe from My Baking Addiction looks awesome! Pair that with a no knead crusty peasant bread from NPR and you have a rock-star meal!

Bolognese Sauce with venison.

We have a freezer full of ground venison. Sometimes I struggle to come up with recipes and ways to use it up but this Bolognese sauce recipe from The Kitchn offers just that opportunities.  Pop the ingredients into the dutch oven for the day and you’ve got a rich sauce that goes great over pasta or spaghetti squash.

Peruvian Style Grilled Chicken from Serious Eats.

I have some delicious whole chickens in the refrigerator this week. The rub that Serious Eats offers up in this post will make them flavorful combined with the green sauce and grilling technique- I’ll have a crowd pleaser.
