You know to see a rock band performing live has always been on my bucket list. Is it on your list too? Well, then you can mark a tick on it soon. Yes, you all might be aware of the #1 Taiwanese rock band, Mayday which has already made a scoop with its album released after a hiatus of three long years. They are doing a World tour ‘Just Rock It’ for it too. And guess what they’ll be performing In Malaysia..!! Yayyy..!!
The Concert-cum-Music festival will be on stage on the 22nd October. How excited are you about attending the concert?! Well, if not too much let me tell you that the World Tour has begun in May and is proving to be a tremendous success.
Ah..!! That waving of hands and lights, drum rolls, sounds of crowd cheering, applauding and grooving, singing along!!! Seems so surreal right? Well, all this is going to be true. Already dancing no?!
You all are aware of that Mayday is one of the rock bands which always experiments with its music and adds new feathers and laurels to its name. Mayday has set many impressive records in the Chinese music history, having performed to more than 10 million fans around the world at some of the world’s most acclaimed concert venues.
Mayday is a band of five people: Ashin (lead vocals), Monster (Guai Shou) and Stone (Shi Tou) (guitar), Masa (Ma-sha) (bass guitar) and Guan You (drums). They had begun with their tour in May and it has been a three hour long concert without any fail of energy among the band members. The concert was nothing less than a music festival in itself. The light and graphic techniques used was much appreciated and loved by the audiences.
I know the excitement level might have reached its peak already when you heard that they are going to perform in Malaysia. Relax people! I know it’s hard to but calm down and save the excitement and energy for the day! What I would say is come one and bring along everyone as this one is not to be missed. Why to make it a regression when you can turn it into a kickass opportunity.
Music of Malaysia consists of Chinese music and the music itself combines western polyphony with Chinese melodies and scales. And the bulk of its selection consists of music originated from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. Here, it is clear that the Malaysians love Taiwanese music and there are loads of Malay fans waiting for the rock concert to take place.
I know how crazily you all have loved their music and have always wished to see them perform live and above that the most special thing is that Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia would be their last stop too!! Wow! Something to crave for! Yes people it’s once in a lifetime opportunity to see Mayday perform. You never know when you might be able to see them perform next in Malaysia!
