Happy Sunday!! Today I will be talking about the Maybelline Color Tattoos. These were released a while ago but it took me some time to get my hands on them. I have been waiting for these babies to go on sale before purchasing them. I purchased two when Chemist Warehouse had 40% off last year, then four last week when they had 50% off. These are by far one of my favorite cream eyeshadows.
Ink technology creates 24HR wear shadow for our most intense, long-lasting color saturation. Cream formula glides on without creasing and keeps color vibrant. Ophthalmologist-tested – Safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
The Maybelline Color Tattoo have good wear time. You can apply it sheer for a natural look or build it up for a more dramatic look. The consistency of these cream eyeshadows are thick, similar to MAC paint pots. In some reviews I’ve read, these can outlast the wear time of paint pots which is pretty impressive. The pigmentation is quite intense for most of the colors, with not much fading throughout the day. Out of the six colours I have, I found that Painted Purple and Bold Gold are not as pigmented as the others. Having said that, you can still build both of them up. These cream eyeshadows come in a glass jar. The jars are great because you can quickly see the shade without having to open each of the pots. The pots are quite generous in size, these will last me a lifetime.
Have you tried Maybelline Color Tattoo?
