Hello lovelies! I am back with another nail polish review. Today I am reviewing the new range of glitter nail polishes from Maybelline New York Color Show called “Glitter Mania”. MNY India recently launched this range of 8 shades, adding to its already popular range of Color Show nail polishes.

As soon as I discovered that these nail polishes were launched in the market, I simply had to get my hands on them. For starters, I went out and bought three shades from a Maybelline counter at Shopper’s Stop at a nearby mall. Now let’s start the review, shall we?

Packaging:

The packaging is the same as the regular Color Show nail polishes. The bottle is cylindrical, sturdy and made of thick glass which is good in case it takes a fall. The cap is made of plastic and fits perfectly.

My Take On The Product:

At first look, this nail polish looks like any other shimmery nail polish, but it’s nowhere close to anything else I have used before. For starters, it does not have a glossy finish but instead has a grainy glittery texture which gives your manicure a kind of 3D effect. It looks like you have glued on powdery glitter on your nails which I love since I am a fan of shimmery things. However, if you are not a fan of the grainy texture, you can apply a clear top coat to minimize the grainy feel.

The product description on MNY India’s website says that this range has some sort of special “Color Dry Technology“. I don’t know what this technology exactly is but I swear it works! The nail polish dries within a few seconds of application which is super awesome and a boon to women who are always on-the-go. My manicure, with two coats of application, was done within 5 minutes and that too because I waited a little longer just to make sure that the polish was really dry. Lastly, even though the polish has a grainy texture, the glitter does not come off.
