Maximalist: Coats & Jackets

Since I have been documenting my downsizing wardrobe on the blog for past several months, I thought it is only fair that I also showcase one area that I am incapable of minimizing - Coats & Jackets.

First several years in the U.S. I lived in Texas where the winters are not severe enough to warrant much investment in coats and jackets. However, after my move to Maryland I have generated quite a collection. While moving forward I do not plans to add any more layers to my closet but I could not bring myself to get rid of any of the top-layers either.

In my defense the temperature variations on daily basis and 9 months long winter, allows me to get enough use out of everything I own. Below are the few coats and jackets I have worn recently. Rest assured there will be more posts coming soon features other lighter layers soon.
