Masking Resolution 2018

“Beautiful skin requires commitment, not a miracle”

Continuing with new year kinda posts, I have a lot of resolutions I have made this year in the beauty area. And one of the most important ones is committing more strongly to my skin and hair care!

I kindof gave skincare and beauty a super back seat in 2017 and I want to catch up this year. This is on the same lines as I mentioned in my previous post of being more put together and putting more effort in dressing.

So these are my resolutions or stuff I want to try doing –

I did have a pretty consistent skin care routine this year, I will be continuing with that. To add to that, I want to try to mask atleast 3x week. Or more if I’m using sheet masks.

These are some masks I bought during the end of December and I’ve been using since then.

From left to right –

Blue Tansy mask by Herbivore. This brand is slowly becoming my favorite, they make some amazing products. This mask is more for clearing skin and to work on blemishes.

Then is this beautifullll mask by Farmacy. This was really expensive and I bought it during the Sephora 20% off sale. It has honey and royal jelly and is very hydrating! My skin is mostly on the dry side and my skin loves this one.

Glamglow is one mask that I’ve been using for more than a year now. It’s become a permanent part and this is my 3rd or 4th tub of this beauty.

Other than that, these The Body Shop masks are also clarifying and detoxifying kindof masks. These are the Himalayan charcoal mask and the Japanese green tea mask. They’re both amazing so far and I love them.

Last is another one which is more hydrating. The body shop vitamin e mask is like a night treatment to be washed off in the morning.

I have used these all only a couple times so far. And I plan to include these properly in my routine. Like, alternating between a clarifying mask and hydrating and doing these 2-3 times a week. And even multi masking with clarifying masks to hydrate and hydrating for the drier parts of my face.

And sprinkling sheet masks in between when my skin needs extra love.

So this is my masking plan for the year. I will surely add more masks to this as I go on with the year.

I would love to know new recommendations from you guys !! Tweet me or leave your comments below!

Lots of love
