When I heard Marika Hackman for the first time, it was as if all of my favorite things in the world — puppies, sunshine, blue eyes, grocery shopping – would now pale in comparison to my love for this UK songstress and her drop dead gorgeous voice. After listening to her music nonstop for the past few months, we were able to take a trip to London where we put together an incredible local production team and worked with Bowerman Studios for our very first London Buzzsession. Watch the Buzzsession featuring her tracks “Bath Is Black” and “Call Off The Dogs” below and snag the recordings for free.
‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series produced by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we capture footage of our favorite bands as they record alternate studio-quality versions of their songs. This Buzzsession was shot at Bowerman Studios in West London.
