Marcus’s Mom Cast On True Blood

Michael Ausiello from TV Line.com reports that True Blood has cast the role of Annie, who is the mother of late werewolf packmaster Marcus.

This is what Michael said over at TVLine.com;

My Name is Earl character actress Dale Dickey, who knows a thing or two about channeling formidable, backwoods matriarchs (as seen in her award-winning performance in last year’s Winter’s Bone).

Powerful and respected within the pack due to her late son’s position, Annie is determined to perform a particular ritual.

Dickey is set to recur throughout TB‘s upcoming fifth season.

Sounds very interesting…NOT! I’m already falling asleep! Zzzzzzzzz… I don’t understand why they cast so many roles, when all it does in the long run; is take away scenes and airtime from Eric and Sookie! Grrr…I expect the Eric and Sookie scenes to be around 10 mins once again and I’m not even sure how much of that will be together! I wonder if Sookie will be somehow blamed for Marcus’s death too?
