March Recap

Posted on the 01 April 2012 by Diana @azizaspicks
Every month I read my fellow bloggers posts and am shocked by the numbers of the movies they see, but most of all, I am a bit ashamed- I watch only 12-13 movies per month and I call myself a movie blogger?
I just decided to not that think about it- I prefer to watch movies in my own pace and to not be rushed. If I can only do 13 per month, I am ok with it. Plus, these posts are just a way for me to keep track of what I've done throughout the year, so I can see if I accomplised my resolutions!
Anyway, this month was ok (better than February)- I got to read, to go to an amazing concert, discover new music (Maccabees) and book tickets for a fantastic music festival that just happens to be FREE (with an exception of a fee of 2.50 pounds fee, which is nothing- equivalent of 3 cans of Cokes)- BBC Hackney Weekend. Moviewise, I did two mini marathons: one of David Cronenberg films, and the other about the Coen Brothers features.
Here's the list:

Control[2007]
A history or violence [2005]
Eastern Promises [2007]
A dangerous method [2011]

I'll have 3 weeks of Spring Break in April, and I am planning to be a busy girl and take advantage of the city, the library, my movie collection and the internet.
Hope you all have a good month!
p.s Am I the only one who hates April 1st and all the joke mania around it! Never liked it, especially in school!
