Los Angeles based neo-psychedelic band Maple Mars have released Goodbye California, a soaring orchestral ode to their home state. It's been 10 years since their last album, Galaxyland, while all band members were busy with other projects as in-demand sound engineers and musicians. They paint with broad strokes, adding well-placed bits and pieces to create a gently flowing musical canvas. It is a first taste from their forthcoming fifth studio album, omeone’s Got To Listen, due for release in early 2022.
