Manokamna Temple – Nepal

This temple is located at a distance of about 106 kilometers from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Manokamna means a temple that fulfills one’s wish. Manokamna Temple is considered to be a Shaktipeeth. The goddess of Manokamna temple is believed to be an incarnation of Devi Parvati. Hence this temple is a temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati. Manokamna Temple is two storeyed and this temple is built in the traditional Nepali pagoda style. Devotees used to reach the temple by walking for about three hours. Which was a walk of about 5 kms. The journey here is only 10 minutes by car to reach the temple.
