The story I'm going to tell is not that of a celebrity but someone who may be assumed to be very ordinary. This is a story of 30 year old widowed lady named Manju Devi who resides in a diminutive hamlet. My intention is to give her the respect that she actually deserves. What she does for a living is worth saluting. Widowed a year ago, she bears the burden of bringing up her three children single-handedly .To earn a living, she left her drought-stricken village to work as a porter (coolie) among 200 male porters, at Jaipur city's Railway station. She is nominated in JSW WILL OF STEEL. But, I feel very sorry to say that she didn't get enough votes whereas she deserves more. In a society where women are still dominated and looked down upon, she chose to challenge the norms. She decided to stand among 200 men alone, take up a cumbersome task that has been solely ventured by the men folk and has successfully been doing it.
According to me she deserves to get the #WillOfSteel honour, not only because she has taken up a challenge that has never been thought to be performed by women, but also she has shown every other woman from every strata of society that a strong mind with an equally strong will power can make you achieve the unthinkable.

My words are not enough to express my feelings towards this lady. Maybe, she will act as an inspiration for other women who think they are helpless. Maybe, this will help in realizing how strong a woman really is and what can she do for her family. So, I request everyone who is reading this if you have a bit of respect for this lady please go ahead and vote for her. Let's felicitate her for the work she does.
I SALUTE YOU MANJU DEVI
I’m voting for Manju Devi'’s#WillOfSteel and blogging on BlogAdda to help her get felicitated and eventually enabled by JSW
