Man Spent $30,000 to Go to Super Bowl

By Eowyn @DrEowyn

I’m constantly amazed by how people spend money.

This man spent $30,000 to attend Sunday’s Super Bowl 50.

Justin Kerrigan

Interviewed by NBC Bay Area when his plane landed in San Francisco, Denver Broncos fan Justin Kerrigan said he spent $21,000 on four tickets, i.e., $5,250 per ticket.

Including hotel and meals, altogether Kerrigan spent $30,000 on the whole trip.

And his wife doesn’t know.

My people-finder search engine says there are two men named Justin Kerrigan in the United States who are of about the same age as the guy in the news video — early 30s. Neither is wealthy: One lives in a 2 bedroom-1 bath house (zestimate $88,232) in West Mifflin, PA; the other in a 3 bedroom-1.5 bath townhouse condo (zestimate $206,720) in Haverhill, MA.

Would you spend that kind of money on the Super Bowl, even if you have $30,000 to spare?
