Make a Different Cocktail – Agua De Valencia with Orange Juice

The Agua de Valencia, a very popular cocktail in the Levant coast, was originated in 1959 in the “Café Madrid” of Valencia, being since then the star of the Valencian nightlife.

This cocktail has as main ingredients orange juice and cava, giving a soft and frothy touch that along with the sugar, make it a compelling and original drink for an unforgettable party with friends.

Ingredients

- ½ liter of freshly squeezed orange juice, you can squeeze directly from freshly picked Valencian oranges available on our website.

- ½ liter of Cava, Cava as Millesimo 2007 Pago de Tharsys that adds an elegant touch for its fine bubbles and slightly bitter finish.

- 6 cl. of Gin

- 6 cl. of Vodka

- 1 or 2 oranges for garnish

- White sugar

Preparation

Firstly, pour into a large pitcher the orange juice, gin, vodka and two big tablespoons of sugar (you can add more sugar if you want it sweeter), and stir well with a wooden spoon until sugar dissolves.

Then, add the cava and stir it again carefully to keep the cava bubbles. Add lots of ice and finally decorate as desired with oranges, sliced ​​either in the glass or in segments within the pitcher. And so you can easily enjoy an original and elegant cocktail.
