We've known for a few months that there was a rumored track from Major Lazer featuring Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend, and now it is out and is called "Jessica." It was played over the weekend on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio show and man, you might be surprised by the sound. While Major Lazer is known for blending in multiple genres, usually they have very energetic tracks. Yet, "Jessica" is a more laid back reggae groove, with an interesting vocal approach. It's actually a pretty addicting tune, but it might require a few listens for some of you to really get a feel for it. This will be on their new album Free the Universe, out April 15th. Stream below.
