I received the following books over the last couple of weeks.
Books I Received Last Week
From Penguin Random House I received Things Your Mother Never Told You About Love by Juhi Pande, which is a series of essays on love – basically the love advice girls look for and never (apparently) get from their mothers. In the author’s own words, this book is for all the girls who haven’t yet unraveled themselves.
The Black Coat is by Neamat Imam. It’s a book about Bangladesh in the 1970s just after getting independence and is supposed to be a dark satire. This book came to me from BookGeeks.
I can’t wait to get started on these books. Both are slightly off the beaten track in terms of the books I like to read but I think I am going to love them anyway.
